needless to say, I jumped away from my computer, shrieked, and appeared in Nicki's doorway with (apparently) a panic-stricken look on my face. she came over, we both continued to shriek and watch the tail flip helplessly around, then had some more issues as the tail-less body found itself after the shock and scampered away behind my bookshelf. Nicki captured it, then when the tail lay still, picked it up and threw it away.
I wiped up the gecko blood. then I stared at this beautiful vision in a jar for awhile.
I saw a gecko in my room the next day, and wasn't even mad. just glad he had a tail fully intact.

Poor gecko! I used to catch lizards when I was little and I'd end up crying if I pulled off their tails.
ReplyDeleteahahahah. i have definitely had my share of gecko drama in my room as well. you get used to them. now i just stare disdainfully at the suckers when i see them crawling along by my a/c. anywho, your chiang mai post was hilarious. ReplyDeletefirst of all your mom screaming at the end of the video is the funniest part! lol. second of all, I hope you know that geckos can just grow their tails right back so its no big deal lol. the blood is pretty gross I have to admit. this def shows that you're a city girl haha
