toby and tyson

I’ve got 2 new men in my life, and I’m pretty happy with where things are headed.

• Toby: my baby-blue bicycle that is almost definitely made for a preteen girl but adequately meets my suphan-cruising needs. Toby is swift, reliable, and even comes equipped with a backseat and pegs for extra friends who may wish to ride. 

• Tyson: my new underwater digital camera, also known as an Olympus Tough. he’s fierce. he can go 10 meters underwater and you can drop him from 6 feet up, and he’ll just be like “what? pick me up.” (sam picked the name, then suggested his full name be Tyson Edwards, but I nixed that. why would a camera need a surname? that’s just frivolous.)

and while we’re on this T theme, I got to play with baby tigers this weekend. look how Tough Ty captured the action:

I’m not prone to loving little furry animals, but these guys pretty much melted me.
